ZOSS Media ("we," "us," or "our") operates zoss.media. This policy describes this portfolio website. The separate Shopify store at store.zoss.media has its own privacy policy and privacy controls; choices made here do not change your store preferences.

Information We Collect and Why

You can browse without an account. Hosting and content providers receive technical information needed to deliver the site, such as your IP address, browser, requested files and referring page. If you send an inquiry, we receive the name, email address, project details and message you provide, and use them to respond. Our contact form sends submissions through Formspree.

If you allow analytics, Google Analytics receives identifiers and information about visits, pages viewed, device/browser and referrals so we can understand site usage. If you allow advertising, Google Ads and AdSense may receive identifiers and browsing activity to measure and personalize advertising, including across websites. This advertising activity may constitute sale or sharing under California privacy law.

Cookies and Your Choices

Google Analytics, Google Ads and AdSense scripts stay blocked until you allow the relevant category. Reject all keeps these optional services off. Customize lets you choose analytics and advertising separately. Browsing, scrolling or closing the settings window does not count as consent.

We store your selection in the first-party zoss_consent cookie for up to one year. It contains your privacy selections, not a unique advertising ID. Clearing cookies or using a different browser or device may require another choice. If your browser prevents us from saving an opt-in, optional tracking stays off.

Change your privacy choices anytime, or use Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information to turn off optional analytics and advertising immediately. These controls are also available at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing a previous opt-in reloads the page to stop running tags and removes known Google tracking cookies accessible to this site. It does not delete data already received by providers or cookies controlled by other domains.

We honor a supported browser's Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal automatically by keeping optional analytics and advertising off, including when a previous selection allowed them. No account or form is required. Settings show when this signal is active. These choices apply to this browser on zoss.media.

Video and Other Content Providers

Vimeo background and portfolio players use Vimeo's Do Not Track setting to disable its optional session analytics. Vimeo still receives connection information and may use essential cookies for video delivery and security. YouTube videos load after you click to play and use its privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com player; interacting with a video still connects you to YouTube. Rejecting advertising and analytics cookies does not block these video services.

Google Fonts, Shopify's image CDN, YouTube thumbnail servers and Vumbnail deliver fonts and images and receive the technical information needed for those requests. Social media links take you to the selected service when clicked.

Service Providers

Providers handle information under their own policies. Read how Google uses data from partner sites, Vimeo's privacy policy, Formspree's privacy policy and Vercel's privacy policy.

Data Retention

We retain contact form submissions and email correspondence for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry. Provider logs, analytics and advertising records are subject to the provider's retention settings and policies. Your cookie choice is retained for up to one year as described above.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to know about, access, correct or delete personal information, opt out of sale or sharing, and exercise these rights without discrimination. To ask about information we hold or make a request, email hello@zoss.media. We may need information to verify requests concerning personal records. Browser opt-outs through the controls above or GPC do not require identity verification.

Children's Privacy

Our site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Changes to this policy do not automatically authorize optional tracking.
