Quick Start Guide: XPANDR

Unboxing & Overview

In the Box

XPANDR Case (two pieces)

3M Magsafe Ring

Allen Key

4x Screws

Note: The AirTag itself is not included and must be supplied by the user.

Remove the AirTag Coin Cell

Press and twist the metal back of your Apple AirTag counterclockwise.

Lift off the cover and remove the coin battery (CR2032).

Set the coin battery and metal back aside; you won’t need it for XPANDR’s rechargeable system.

Prepare & Position the AirTag

Gently place the AirTag onto the XPANDR’s built-in dummy battery until you hear a chime. This indicates contact has been made.

Keep it in that position to maintain contact while you attach the top piece.

Secure the XPANDR Case

Align the top piece of the XPANDR Case over the AirTag. Starting from the loop end, slowly press it together. You may hear the chime again.

Insert the 4x screws through the holes in the case.

Use the Allen Key to tighten each screw until flush with the housing—avoid overtightening, as this could damage the case.

You can now setup on your phone if it is not already set up.

Charging & LED Indicators

Place the assembled XPANDR Case onto a MagSafe or Qi-compatible wireless charger.

LED Colors:

Red: Currently charging

Green: Fully charged

Flashing: Alignment issue.

A full charge can last up to 5 years, depending on usage.

Maintenance & Tips

Splashproof Only: XPANDR can withstand light moisture (e.g., rain splashes), but it is not fully waterproof — keep it away from water submersion.

Recharging: Periodically top it up, especially before travel or extended use.

Installation Check: If you notice any rattling or if the AirTag stops chiming, gently recheck screws and alignment.

Safety & Disclaimer

Surface Compatibility: Use only 3M Magnetic Ring on smooth, flat, and non-porous surfaces. Avoid rough or textured surfaces as they can weaken the grip.

Check Before Use: Always check the stability of the mount.

Liability Disclaimer: We are not responsible for any damage to your AirTag, personal items, or other equipment resulting from misuse, accidents, or improper installation.

Charging times and battery life may vary depending on usage conditions.
